No joke. In spite of my pragmatic miserly nature, I did in fact adopt a Tesla Model S 70D with Autopilot a couple weeks ago. Tesla: the very same energy storage tech start-up that also just happens to build amazing electric cars. Crazy. It arrives in about 4 weeks.

I loved driving Bob Lutz’s brainchild these past few years, and I guess I am looking forward to driving Elon Musk’s brainchild next.
